The Montgomery Youth Soccer Association

The Montgomery Youth Soccer Association provides a competitive playing environment for dedicated and skilled players, with all league matches taking place within Montgomery County.

The Challenge League also operates during the fall and spring seasons, serving U8 through U19 players across boys and girls divisions. It provides meaningful competition for clubs and independent teams while maintaining an emphasis on player development and enjoyment. The Challenge League is designed to attract teams from throughout the region by offering well-organized, appropriately leveled competition that supports independent clubs and maintains the operational excellence that distinguishes MYSA from less professionally managed alternatives.

Teams in the Montgomery Youth Soccer Association operate with a high degree of independence. Each team is responsible for player recruitment, roster management, team administration, budgeting, and player fees.

The Montgomery Youth Soccer Association offers a valuable pathway between recreational and travel soccer, providing:

• A competitive level of play comparable to many regional travel leagues—without the need to travel outside Montgomery County.
• Professionally managed league operations, including field assignments, referee scheduling, game scheduling, and conflict resolution.
• Added convenience for coaches managing multiple teams, with league scheduling coordinated to minimize conflicts.

Whether players are looking for a more competitive environment or preparing for future travel soccer opportunities, the Montgomery Youth Soccer Assocation offers a strong developmental pathway close to home.
